Today I’d like to introduce you to my favorite fitness obsession and the best workout for brides – barre. If you are looking to get that lean, toned physique (and let’s be honest, who isn’t?) then barre is for you. I am completely hooked on my local studio Barre Evolution. I’m not one to go to the gym or even a boutique fitness studio. In the past if I worked out it was always at home in my living room as I found most fitness studios intimidating and uncomfortable. But Barre Evolution is a different story. From the moment you enter the studio you are greeted by a super friendly instructor who gives you a tour of the space and helps you collect the weights and accessories needed for class. Barre Evolution is the one fitness studio where people actually introduce themselves and other students encourage each other.
I will never forget my first experience at Barre Evolution. I was super nervous to take my first class but my instructor Annette didn’t just learn my name she called me after class to make sure I had a good experience. When you’re working out for your wedding it’s important to find a fitness studio that is comfortable and encouraging and Barre Evolution is it.
Between work and planning a wedding it can often seem like you have no time to workout. But when your workouts are in such a fun environment like Barre Evolution you will look forward to going. Plus one hour in their space listening to pumping hits will relax and de-stress you. Just 3 classes a week can transform your body and make you feel more comfortable rocking a sleeveless wedding gown and all of the shaking at the barre will have you dancing at your reception all night without breaking a sweat!
