Happy New Year! I thought I would start the year off with a trip to the breezy beaches of the Bahamas through today’s gorgeous high fashion engagement. With a wedding theme of “Shipwrecked Romance,” this couple chose the private community of Lyford Cay for their engagement. With it’s lush greenery and historic cracked walls this engagement feels more like a portrait of a relaxed island vacation. This blogger bride called upon her friend Bahamian fashion designer Brynda Knowles to design a gorgeous Oscar De La Renta inspired gown which provides the perfect dash of elegance to the island landscape. I’d have to say their photographer Lyndah Wells knocked it out of the park with this stylish engagement which has left me day dreaming of warm summer days spent at the beach!
