St. Augustine Elopement

February 19, 2020

We hold a special place in our hearts for sweet elopements and are smitten over this one captured by Molliner Photography. Bride Ledia and groom Ervin wanted to skip the fuss of a big wedding and instead wanted a simple elopement. If these photos are any indication, it appears the two achieved just that – a sweet and peaceful day for two.
From the photographer:
” There is something so intimate and sweet about foregoing the traditional wedding celebrations and marrying your One – without all the fuss and stress that traditional wedding days sometimes bring. Ledia + Ervin didn’t want to make their elopement too big of a celebration, but all of their friends and their family members wanted to be sure their love story was properly celebrated!

The night before they eloped, their whole group of friends rented an Air BnB and stayed up WAY PAST a normal bedtime exchanging stories, laughing and reminiscing about their college days. The morning of, Ledia had her hair styled by her Jacksonville best friend, another friend did her makeup and  made her bouquet (thanks, Trader Joe’s!). Ledia’s immediate family joined them at the courthouse for the ceremony and then treated everyone to a celebratory lunch in downtown St. Augustine afterwards. They ended lunch by enjoying homemade baklava that Ledia’s aunt sent all the way from Albania!”
