Travel Guide To Palm Beach Florida

January 7, 2019

This past July I had a collaboration with Expedia that took me to Palm Beach, FL. (you can read more about that here) I had so much fun during my 48 hours in Palm Beach that I wanted to share everything with you in this travel guide to Palm Beach! If you’re looking for a relaxed vacation or honeymoon destination then I highly suggest Palm Beach. The island was practically empty while I was there (possibly because I went in the heat of summer) and it had a slow, calm vibe. Palm Beach, Florida is quaint, pretty, and colorful – everything you want in a beach town.Palm Beach Travel Guide

Where to Stay in Palm Beach:

With its pink exterior and palm print walls I just had to stay at The Colony Hotel. Its central location near Worth Avenue and complimentary bicycles were a huge plus. You can read more about my stay here.

What to Do in Palm Beach:

Palm Beach is a small city so as long as your’e not lounging at the pool all day it’s easy to see most of the sites within 48-hours. One of my favorite itineraries is to rent bikes and bike the Lake Trail. The trail takes you past the water and some of Palm Beaches prettiest homes. On the trail you will also pass the 188 year-old Giant Kopak Tree and the quaint Sea Gull cottage, Palm Beaches oldest house. The halfway point of the Lake Trail will leave you at the Flagler Museum. Take a tour of this Gilded Age mansion and learn a bit about the history of Palm Beach. Then end your bike ride with sandwiches at Buccan and an afternoon at the pool!

  • Bike the Lake Trail
  • Explore Root Trail
  • Relax on the beach
  • Shop on Worth Avenue
  • View the Giant Kapok Tree
  • Flagler Museum
  • Sea Gull Cottage

Where to Eat in Palm Beach:

Palm Beach is home to a host of wonderful restaurants and below are just a few of my favorites. Dinner at Buccan was one of the best meals I have ever experienced and it’s the one restaurant I would not miss. Make reservations ahead of time and make sure to order the warm brussel sprouts caesar. Enjoying drinks at the pool just puts you in that perfect vacation mood so I would also suggest ordering drinks poolside at the Bimini Bar before heading out to dinner.

    • Buccan
    • The Sandwich Shop at Buccan (for lunch)
    • Pizza Al Fresco
    • Gelato at Piccolo Gelato
    • Island Bee
    • SurfSide Diner
