Vintage Savannah Wedding // Meredith + Mike

Today’s romantic Savannah, GA wedding is filled to the brim with vintage details and sweet personal touches! The bride and groom held an intimate ceremony in the quaint Washington Square Park. The bride collected vintage handkerchief’s for guests to use during the ceremony and gifted unique vintage purses to each of her bridesmaids. The couple started their reception on a high note as musicians lead the entire wedding through the historic treelined streets of downtown Savannah. With a color palette of teal and bright pops of pink and coral this Island House wedding on the bank of the Stono River in Charleston, SC will have you feeling so cheery you’d swear it was still summer! Pure Luxe Bride designed this coastal affair which features one of my favorite wedding elements, a unified pattern. This couple wove a teal and white pattern throughout their table runners, bar panels, and pole ties. Jennifer Bearden Photography captured all of the details including fresh berry treats from Sugar Bakeshop and homemade jams from the mother of the bride.

Classic Living Coral Southern Wedding

I can’t think of a more perfect way to start the first day of October than with this classic living coral Charleston wedding at Lowndes Grove. Ooh! Events created a relaxed yet formal affair along the Ashley River. Bridesmaids were dressed in living coral with pops of coral woven in throughout the wedding details. Tropical South Beach Wedding // Emma + James

Brrr Fall has arrived in Charleston and there’s nothing I want more than to crawl into the images by 13:13 Photography of this tropical South Beach wedding! Emma and James met when they were 17 at a Halloween party. The groom was a kissing booth while the bride dressed as Aphrodite! The two dated for 7 years before getting engaged at Crandon Park on Key Biscayne. With centerpieces full of orchids, succulents, sea glass and coral their lush Palms Hotel wedding looks like it should be on an island in the Caribbean! A traditional Miami-inspired menu of empanadas, local snapper, and a guava and rum infused wedding cake helped flavor the evening.

Holy City in Heels: Today I am bringing you two completely different looks to inspire your engagement party attire. This first look was inspired by the classic, iconic Tiffany’s box. Happy Weekend! Today is my birthday, the big 2-7. I’d have to say, twenty-seven is the first birthday I’ve ever freaked out about. It just seems so olddd! Thankfully I still get asked if I’m in college and carded for R movies. Yes, I must look that young. As long as I can hold onto that for a little while I can pretend I’m not inching closer to 30, am I right?

Charleston NotWedding Instagram Recap

Happy Monday morning lovelies! I thought I would start the week with a recap of the 2nd Charleston NotWedding, which took place last Wednesday at Boone Hall Plantation! I spent the weekend scouring Instagram for the best images from attendees and below are a few of my favorites. The NotWedding vendors based the decor on an inspiration board full fresh and outdoor details. And I must say they certainly brought the historic wooden Cotton Dock to life with natural elements of oyster shells, rock salt and antler place card holders.

Happy weekend friends! Summer has officially started now that the Spoleto festival has hit Charleston! It’s going to be a busy weekend full of ballet performances, acrobats and music in the park. Not to mention the Avett Brothers are playing at the Charleston Tea Plantation and I’ve snagged myself a ticket! Enjoy this beautiful weekend and make sure you take a walk around downtown to catch the new Shepard Fairey murals that have popped up everywhere!
