Does it feel like New Years Eve creeps up every year? It is so close to Christmas that I feel like it gets a little lost. It’s the type of holiday where you either ignore it or go all in with an expensive night out. By the time New Years Eve rolls around I typically just want a cozy night in. But just because you may want a night at home avoiding the crowds, it doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate! Today I will be showing you how to create a New Years Eve bar cart with Cricut. This bar cart is perfect to use for a New Years Eve Party at home – and I won’t judge you if the only guests are you and the countdown on TV!
If you haven’t explored Cricut ready to make projects yet then you’re missing out! There are thousands of ready to make projects just waiting for you in Design Space. For example, when planning this bar cart I did a simple search for New Years in Design Space. This led me to the Happy New Years banner project. I then stumbled upon the silver star cocktail stirrers by the same designer. Both of these crafts use glitter cardstock, making them easy projects to do together. To find ready to make projects simply click “projects” on the left hand side. Click Here for the link to the New Years banner project and simply follow the steps within Design Space to create.
I decided to hang my New Years banner from the front of my bar cart. By placing it there instead of on the wall the bar cart becomes a mobile New Years Eve party! You can roll this New Years bar cart outside or to a different room and it will still look the same.
I then created these star sticks with silver glitter cardstock. This is a one cut project from Cricut Access and could not be simpler! This project dresses up your bar cart in minutes. Plus it’s always fun having a bit of holiday flair in your drink.
I used a Cricut Access font (font is Balege Std Regular) and Cricut’s holographic vinyl to dress up party hats. I’m a little bit obsessed with this new to me holographic vinyl. It’s perfect for New Years décor and would be so fun used in any wedding projects.
