Today I’m excited to share with you these easy DIY ornament shaped gift tags, perfect for all of your holiday gifts! There really is no easier way to DIY than with a Cricut and today’s post will show you how simple it is to create projects straight from Design Space. I created this template in minutes using Cricut font and a pre-made ornament tag in Design Space. Get my ornament holiday gift tag design HERE and read on below for the steps to this project.

Start by opening my design (here) in Cricut Design Space. You can change the size of the tag or personalize what it says. With Cricut Access you have the ability to create hundreds of projects with just the click of a button. Rather than spending time creating and importing your own files, Cricut Access lets you chose from a library of projects and with Cricut Access fonts you can customize everything. Decide which color cardstock you would like for the bottom of the ornament and which for the top. I used seafoam green on the bottom and rose for the top of the ornament. Attach your first color to the cutting mat and load into your Cricut machine.
Using the weeding tool gently remove the negative space from the letters and your gift tag from the cutting mat.
To finish off your ornament gift tag simply glue the two pieces together.
