DIY Agate Table Numbers With Kate Aspen

February 20, 2019

Agate is one of my favorite wedding trends so when I saw this geode glass coaster set from Kate Aspen I just knew I had to have them! Agate is a stone with rich color and unique patterns. It’s a natural element that looks right at home in wedding decor whether you’re hosting a rustic affair or a laid back beach wedding. The best way to include touches of agate in your wedding is through small details like table numbers, place cards, and favors. I love the pop an agate table number adds to decor so today I am going to show you how to turn these geode glass coasters from Kate Aspen into agate table numbers. Make sure to check out our DIY bridal shower tea bags for even more inspiration!agate table numbersagate table numbersKate Aspen recently launched a brand new elements collection for weddings, featuring marble plates, marble favors, and marble accessories. With a delicate pink and purple color scheme this collection could not be more perfect for spring and summer weddings, bachelorette parties, and bridal showers. Kate Aspen is one of my favorite brands to turn to for wedding decor and I am so excited for you to experience their new collection!

Supplies For DIY Agate Table Numbers

Geode Glass Coasters
Gold Paint

Cricut Maker
Transfer Tape
If you don’t have a laser cutting machine you can purchase the vinyl numbers pre-made here.

I love the look of calligraphy table numbers but it can be a headache writing all of your table numbers by hand. I have made these agate table numbers a cinch to make by using vinyl. Vinyl is a savior if you have bad handwriting (like me!) as it can recreate a handwritten look and your guests won’t know the difference. You can access my design file by clicking here. I have sized them perfectly to fit the geode glass coasters. Or if you don’t have a laser cutting machine you can purchase the vinyl numbers pre-made here. agate table numbersFirst, use a thin brush to paint the sides of your geode glass coasters gold. The coasters come with a gold glitter border and adding a bit of gold paint to the sides helps enhance this.DIY agate table numbersUpload our design file into Design Space and use your Cricut Machine to cut. Weed out the negative space to reveal your table number.DIY agate table numbersPlace a piece of transfer tape over your vinyl letters. Then gently place this down on your agate table number. DIY agate table numbersUse your fingers to smooth your design down then slowly peel off the transfer tape.DIY agate table numbersYour DIY agate table numbers are now complete!
