Today’s mid week wedding inspiration is such a treat as it is full of fun DIY details and the bride and groom have quite the romantic story! Joel and Amy met overseas and dated long-distance – she was living in Rome and he in Ohio. After months of handwritten letters and Skype sessions the two found themselves in love and Joel quickly relocated to Rome. Joel and Amy planned a sweet DIY wedding in the brides hometown of New Hampshire. Their ceremony at the Valley Bible Church was an intimate one, as this is the church the bride attended growing up. The couples reception was held in an old stone barn near the Enfield Shaker Museum. Guests were served on vintage china collected by the bride and treated to buckeyes and mini maple syrup, a nod to the couples hometowns of Ohio and Vermont. The bride handcrafted the majority of the reception decor giving the space an intimate and personal feel. Enjoy all of the images below from Ampersand Photography!
